Volunteer Firefighter Recruiting Across New York State
Eric Lawler of Pittsford Fire Department spoke with News10 about the fire department’s recent open house as part of a statewide recruiting event in New York State to raise awareness for the need of volunteer firefighting services.
“We open our doors to anybody. Anybody over the age of 18 is welcome to join our organization. We welcome anyone who can help our organization in any capacity,” Lawler said.
